The beauty shop [collection] : a musical comedy in three acts / book and lyrics by Channing Pollock and Rennold Wolf ; music by Charles J. Gebest. [1900-1920?]

Arranged in four groups: I. Vocal scores (1). II. Vocal parts (27). III. Promptbooks (6). IV. Dialogue parts (14). The vocal score is a piano-conductor score (outer voices only with typewritten text) which consists of a series of consecutively numbered, unbound single manuscript sheets contained in a folder. The vocal parts occur as two sets: the first consists of separate unbound manuscript numbers with typed words; the second set, with handwritten words and text, is a series of volumes, each of which corresponds to a single character. Five of the six typescript promptbooks are identical; the sixth is distinguished by its ledger size and the inclusion of staging diagrams and a properties list, and the cover annotation "As produced by Geo. M. Cohan."
